"Orange Bali" Can Trigger Breast Cancer

Women who frequently consume Orange Bali should be careful. Based on the research the University of South California and University of Hawaii, USA, reported by the BBC, Orange Bali can increase the risk of developing breast cancer.

They studied 50,000 postmenopausal women, and found women who ate oranges Bali allegedly exposed to the risk of breast cancer 30 percent, than women who did not consume Orange Bali.

Because the Orange Bali can increase the hormone estrogen, a hormone that has a big trigger breast cancer.

"If Orange Bali important role to increase the level of estrogen metabolism, then no doubt if the orange is to increase the risk of female breast cancer," said one researcher.

While the researchers say, they still require further research on their findings. After all, they only studied the fruit, not in the form of juice.

Meanwhile, according to results of previous research studies that breast cancer is triggered by lifestyle factors such as drinking alcohol, and overweight.

However, a nutritionist from the British Nutrition Foundation, Dr Joanne Lunn, assess the research was important for women who eat a diet with plenty of fruit. Apart from the need for further research, it helps women reduce the consumption of Bali Oranges.
